The Naperville Parks Foundation

The Naperville Parks Foundation was founded in 2011 to generate community awareness and financial support for Naperville parks, facilities and programs, including the scholarship program for individuals and families in need. The Naperville Parks Foundation is an organization that works as a complementary partner to the Naperville Park District.

A board of directors oversees the operations of the Naperville Parks Foundation to ensure that this viable public/private partnership effectively supports the needs of the community through donations, charitable gifts and community and regional partnerships.

The Naperville Parks Foundation supports the mission and core values of the Naperville Park District, which supports the recreation needs and desires of the residents of Naperville – the fifth largest community in Illinois.

The Foundation supports the Park District’s mission of making recreation of all kinds accessible to everyone across the community, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances. Encouraging health and wellness, fitness, family time and fun all are important elements of the Naperville Park District organization.
